Fine Art photographer based in Worthington , Ohio.

An Ohioan born and raised in the small town of Newbury, located 45 minutes northeast of Cleveland (think “Small Town” John Mellencamp style, and the Snowbelt).  I attended Wittenberg University for undergrad and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology and Art.  While at Witt I was the photo editor for The Torch.  After graduation, I took a detour from my artistic pursuits by moving to Boston, MA to work for the New England Center for Children.  There I taught daily living and school skills to children diagnosed with autism.  I also obtained a Masters in Special Education from Simmons College while on the east coast.  Post-graduation I moved back to the Midwest, by way of Chicago, IL.  While I missed the beauty of the New England states and friendships I made there, I was happy to be back in the Midwest closer to home. In Chicago, I taught for one year until I could no longer resist the gravitational pull to create full time.  I became of portrait photographer at Nationwide Studios and enrolled at Harrington College of Design’s Digital Photography program.  Fast forward three years, after completing this program I moved to Columbus to be with my fiancé (now husband) and have been working in the field of photography ever since.

I am currently a fine art photographer, wife and mother of two boys.  In my free time, I find every opportunity I can to create art with my camera.
